Alex McFarland- Interim pastor
Since May of 2014 Alex has been filling the pulpit at Buffalo and assisting the church where he grew up. Alex is known throughout the US as an evangelist, Christian apologist, and host of Exploring the Word radio broadcast (heard daily M-F in more than 200 markets). As a college student Alex was introduced to the Gospel through a Monday night Bible study. Alex gave his life to Jesus Christ, and experienced a call from God to full-time Christian ministry. While earning a Master's Degree in Apologetics / Christian Thought at Liberty University, Alex beganan apologetics ministry that would ultimately take him to speak in church pulpits throughout all 50 states, to more than 100 college campuses, 27 prisons, and to more than a dozen foreign countries. Alex has written 15 books, incuding the best-selling 10 Most Common Objections to Christianity (and how to effectively answer them).
Pamela Kane - Director of Music Ministry
Pam Kane moved from Morristown, New Jersey to the Greensboro area in April 2009. She is currently working on a DMA in organ performance at UNCG after having taught elementary, middle and high school music for the past 25 years in Arizona, Maryland, Washington, DC and New Jersey. Additionally, she has been blessed to serve at a number of churches as organist, choir director and minister of music. Just prior to moving to North Carolina, Pam co-directed the Brightest Star School of Performing Arts at Bickford Theatre. The school continues to flourish, educating nearly 300 students per year in all areas of performing arts. Pam received her Bachelor and Master’s of Music degrees from Catholic University in Washington, DC where she was privileged to study with National Shrine organist, Robert Grogan. In her spare time, Pam likes to play Scrabble, do Sudoku puzzles, play the piano, compose music and read. She is married to Rick and they have four children: Erin, Brian, Patrick and Michael.
Diane Gallimore - Church Secretary
Diane, a native of Greensboro, has been working with the church since May of 2002. She lives with her husband and has two children. She and her family attend South Elm Street Baptist Church.
